Jon Paul Witt is an Evangelist who lives with his family (Judith his wife, Ethan, Joshuaand Jacob, his 3 very cute children) in Manchester, UK. He is a member of Ivy Cottage Church and is also a Director of Dignity, a mission and evangelistic agency seeking to help many people spiritually, emotionally and practically across the world. He spends his time encouraging many people, especially those who are discouraged evangelists in the Church, speaking and trying to get many projects and events to happen in many different places.
Jon’s beautiful wife is Judith. She’s a GP and contrary to popular opinion does not earn ALL of their money, so Jon can go around doing different things. Our very cute children (yes I’m biased) Ethan, Joshua and Jacob, are 6 yrs, 3 yrs and 5 months old respectively. Joshua is very cheeky whilst Ethan is very thoughtful very keen on football. Jacob on the other hand is still developing his personality, so we’ll let you know how he turns out!
Jon’s family is a Christian family. They pray (not as much as we could) and look to Jesus for direction, and purpose in their life.
Jon used to be a Software Engineer, having a degree in Computer Science from Liverpool University. Whilst Jude has a medical degree and currently works as a GP. However, after a few years of doing solely our careers, Jude and Jon upped sticks and went to live in Zambia for 6 months. From that point, their life took a new twist with children being born and Jon changing career to kind of be a man of the cloth, doing a Masters Degree in Evangelism and Mission Studies.
What we really try and do is to bend our normal life to be in line with the life that we believe the Lord wants us to lead.
